Allie turned one month old in perfect time for her very first family pictures!
The weather outside was cold and dreary, welcome to January in Arkansas! But you’d never know how dull things were outside, once you stepped foot inside Allie’s sweet nursery. Honestly one of the best parts about being a Fayetteville newborn photographer is getting to see my babies totally decked out rooms, and get inspiration for my own little arriving soon! Katie and Gray had filled Allie’s room with so many books, sweet toys, and all shades of pink! And in any newborn photographers dream world, they matched all of their outfits perfectly!
At one month old Allie is still in that sweet and relaxed newborn stage. She was alert and curious when I started taking pictures, but totally content to watch from her bed. Her eyes followed me as I moved around her crib taking her pictures, and she loved looking at some of her favorite toys while Katie talked to her. Anytime we were near her window she was super intrigued by the light, and loved when she could be close to Mom and Dad’s faces and watch them smile and interact with her. Halfway through, all that smiling and talking wore her out, and she couldn’t keep her eyes open! After lots of rocking and cuddling Allie decided it was time for a quick nap in her crib. When everything was said and done, I think we successfully wore her out! Which is always a great accomplishment haha! Thank you so much Katie and Gray for letting me take sweet Allie’s pictures! It was the sweetest morning!! <3 – Grace*
