Ashley and Richard had been friends for a few years before they started dating. They met when Ashley started going to the same church as him and were in the same friend group. Two years later they finally went on a date, which ended with Ashley insisting they watch the Avett Brothers documentary, haha! Apparently, it was pretty good, because here we are, engaged and prepping for a wedding in July <3
When I asked Ashley and Richard if they had a spot or two that was special to them for their shoot, they picked this dock. They picked it because it was on this dock that Richard told Ashely he loved her for the first time. So yes, these guys are freaking perfect humans!
