Nate and Morgan were my very first wedding of 2020, and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start the year!
I knew their day would be special because their proposal was maybe one of the sweetest things I’ve every witnessed. And yes proposals are exciting, but everything about it was so intentional. These two are SO present in how they talk to each other and show one another love. So it’s no doubt their big day was nothing short of that!
Morgan and her bridesmaids made me feel like I had known them forever. I won’t lie, it’s always a little nerve wracking walking into a room full of BFF’s! But I knew immediately this day was going to be SO fun! Honestly my own husband lived with half of Nates groomsmen in college so I was pretty excited from the get go!
There were two first looks on Nate and Morgan’s day. One with Morgan and her dad (yes I held back tears… I blame it on pregnancy. But I mean, look at the pictures and tell me you wouldn’t have a hard time holding it together!), and the other with Morgan and Nate. During their look together the two of them attempted to read their vows to one another, and ever though they couldn’t get through them without having a tiny cry fest, it’s the thought that counts right? (;
The ceremony was completely them, with worship and communion together. And we followed it with the PRETTIEST portraits at golden hour. They ended the night with dancing and the best tacos around. And really that’s how all good stories end right?
Nate and Morgan, thank you for letting me be a part of your day. I can’t wait to see how Boston and marriage treat you! XoXo – Grace*
