Jackson and Justyne planned their wedding day where they met. On Jackson’s family land.
Justyne was invited to a pool party at Jackson’s parents home from a mutual friend, and decided to go. According to her friends speech at their wedding, her plan worked perfectly (; Soon enough Jackson and Justyne started dating, and now just a few years later, have flipped a home on the same property to call their own and said “I do” just a few minutes walk away.
I think describing their wedding day will tell you exactly what you need to know about these two. When I arrived it was already raining. The forecast showed rain pretty much the ENTIRE day, and I won’t lie, I was nervous! But when I walked into their home Justyne was all smiles. She said multiple times that she didn’t care what happened, she was getting married at the beautiful spot they picked out, rain or not! I was THRILLED. I then popped in to see Jackson and he had picked out a tie he DIDN’T want to wear, but that Justyne loved. The two of them are selfless and so kind, and up for really anything! I guess I should have known that when they said they spent a year flipping a home together!(: The two of them did their first look in a bit of a drizzle, and were willing to do whatever it took for pretty pictures on their big day. By the time the ceremony came around the rain had stopped JUSSTTT enough to wipe down the seats and see them down the aisle. It was truly perfect. <3 They ended the evening with some of the sweetest speeches I’ve ever heard from Justyne’s dad, and her bridesmaid that made this whole thing happen by connecting them at a pool party! And finished the night with dancing.
Thank you Justyne and Jackson for letting me be a part of your day! Rain or shine, it was more beautiful than I ever could have imagined, and it was honor to have gotten to photograph it at such a special place for you and your families <3 – XoXo Grace*
