I got to spend one of the best afternoons of spring with Sydney and Harlan! And hear the cutest proposal story too!

Sydney and Harlan had been dating for quite some time, and both knew that marriage was soon on the horizon. So of course, Sydney had been researching wedding venues and totally fell in love with one! The only problem was…she didn’t have a ring yet (; She heard Stonebrooke Meadows was having an open house and mentioned it to Harlan. He encouraged Sydney to go but she quickly told him that was crazy. Who looks at a wedding venue and isn’t even engaged?! (Me, that’s who. I had my dress, photographer, and venue all ready to go before I even had a ring on my finger lol! I blame being a wedding photograher) Harlan convinced Sydney it wouldn’t be weird and that they should go together and check it out, knowing that by the time they left the venue for the day, Sydney would be engaged! He called the venue owner and a local photographer, and filled them in. They were both on board immediately! Once they got to the venue they looked around until the moment was right and Harlan popped the question! Sydney said yes, and next February they’ll be saying “I do” in that exact spot.
